Whose Body? A Eureka Investigation

November, 1923, London. The scars of the Great War are fading and business in the British Empire is booming. The stock market, represented by the London Exchange, is soaring to never-before-seen, ushering in prosperity for the nouveau-riche. Britain's enemies -- Austria, Hungary, Germany -- are neutered in the wake of the war, never to threaten her again, and she has made her peace with her perennial enemy, France. Baseless prejudices are falling away to scientific categorization, and with empirical guidance, crime and moral weakness promise to soon be things of the past.

Well, that's what the headlines say. In truth, London swirls with the same crime it always has, driven by lust, fear, pride, and greed. They had never so touched the respectable life of Mr. Alfred Thipps as they did when he woke up one November morning with a nameless, naked body in his bath.

Under suspicion for murder, a desperate Mr. Thipps accepts help from any allies he can find, and they gather to answer the question the police cannot, the question Mr. Thipps's life hinges on: whose body?
